Bradley Moloney is an independent criminal defense attorney with 16+ years of experience in criminal law and litigation. Each stage of his career has contributed to what he is today: a tireless advocate and defender of his clients’ rights.
As a former prosecutor, Bradley negotiated thousands of cases, and litigated all levels of criminal charges, as well as some of the most complex and high-stakes criminal matters in Colorado. He has taken more than one hundred cases to trial verdict and has consulted on hundreds more. He approaches cases and trials differently than most every attorney, which has led to his resounding success.
Beyond his criminal trial experience, Bradley managed the civil division of a city attorney’s office for numerous years, where he managed a team of attorneys and oversaw litigation. In this role, he successfully litigated cases and negotiated settlements to his clients’ satisfaction. His deep knowledge of courtroom tactics and strategy are showcased both inside and outside of the courtroom. Since 2012, he has taught trial practice and courtroom evidence to law students as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Bradley knows how prosecutors work because he has taught many of them. Over the course of his career, Bradley has taught hundreds of state prosecutors throughout the nation. He is a nationally recognized author and speaker. Based on his courtroom skills, strategic mindset, and perspective, the National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) asked Bradley to write the jury selection chapter for its Trial Advocacy Manual; a book that teaches prosecutors and other litigators alike how to effectively advocate and present a jury trial. He has taught jury selection strategy to lawyers across the country and has been retained as a jury and trial consultant for jury focus groups on various occasions by other law firms. Over the course of his career, he has presented trial-related continuing legal education (CLE’s) on 30+ occasions to licensed attorneys.
While in law school, Bradley was a competing member of the University of Denver’s National Trial Team – an opportunity that formed and polished outstanding tactical courtroom skills at the very beginning of his career. After graduating law school with highest honors, he served as one of the National Trial Team’s coaches with great success. Currently, he volunteers his time as a mock trial coach at a high school in the Denver area.
